Dental Schools in Europe are some of the oldest and most prestigious programmes worldwide. In Sweden, the Karolinska Institute has the world’s third best programme at which to study Dentistry, according to the QS World University Rankings 2016. In Poland, the Medical University Lodz (MUL) has a Dentistry Teaching Centre which is equipped with a new generation of dental and phantom units placing it amongst the top quality medical education centres in Europe. The department also offers a student clinic open to the public where students practice supervised by experienced instructors; and it conducts research and offers education at first and third level in dentistry, dental hygiene and dental technology. Other Top ranked Universities in Europe for this discipline as per the QS World University Rankings 2016, include the University of Gothenburg, King’s College London (KCL),University of Copenhagen, and University of Zurich. EHEVF 2016 India and South Asia participant KU Leuven situated in Belgium makes the QS World Top 10 in the Dentistry Ranking, and offers a wide variety of international bachelor and master’s programmes, all supported by high-quality, innovative, interdisciplinary research.
