Cost of Studying

International students are permitted to work for 120 full days or 240 half days in a year. Time Duration For Post-Study Work Visa

PR Process Time Duration

Permanent residency for graduates is accessible after gaining work experience:

  • With an EU Blue Card: Possible after 21 months (with B1 German) or 33 months (without).
  • For skilled workers (after studies): Often after 2 years of qualified employment + 24 months of pension contributions + B1 German + basic knowledge of German society (Leben in Deutschland test).
