Film Production and Photography

Films, motion pictures, cinema, movies, flicks, celluloid, photography... there are so many ways to talk about one of contemporary society's most beloved art forms. Film courses in Europe give students the opportunity to get involved in the world of cinema, through critical studies or practical production courses. Although not currently covered in the QS World University Rankings by Subject,film studies is a hugely popular area at European universities and colleges. Two of the most influential schools are The London Film School, which is one of the most highly reputed film schools in Europe and the Academy of Performing Arts’ Film and TV School (FAMU), one of the oldest and most prestigious film academies in the world. For students from all over the world, the idea of studying at one of the top photography schools in Europe has a unique appeal. Fortunately, there are many opportunities for those who want to pursue their passion for capturing life with a camera - and Europe is one of the best locations for combining education and travel. When you are not gathering images of historic architecture you can take a break by visiting other historic architecture or breathtaking scenery. Two schools with some of the best programs in this discipline in Europe are the Ecole Nationale Louis Lumiere in Cedex in France, which is mentioned by the QS World University Rankings, and the ETPA Ecole Technique de Photo (Department et Audio Visuelle) Toulouse.
