1. DAAD scholarships in Germany

The German Academic Exchange Service, or DAAD, helps German and foreign students and scholars study and research in Germany. It is a collaboration of higher education institutions in Germany.   • PhD students from the EU region will receive a monthly stipend of 1,350 EUR and a research costs allowance of 100 EUR (excluding tuition fees). The scholarship is for two years, with the possibility of two half-year extensions.

3. DeutschlandStipendium National Scholarship Programme

The Deutschlandstipendium is a financial aid programme in Germany for high-achieving and dedicated foreign students. It provides financial assistance to students at all participating German universities, regardless of the student's nationality or personal or parental wealth.

Scholarships for overseas students studying in Germany are usually awarded for two semesters, although they might be extended for the whole academic year.
